Context
ClubUni was born with the idea of creating a virtual assistant for students that encompassed all the necessary information during their university years. I was contacted by the team to remodel the existing service due to structural issues with the interface and a low retention rate, which turned out to be much lower than expected.
Challenge
In this project, we started with an existing very basic but functional website where users could access different options and services offered by ClubUni. Despite that, the website traffic was almost non-existent, and the two features with the most activity were discounts and the community, with the latter being managed externally through WhatsApp groups. The challenge was to make the service relevant as a whole, not just in specific aspects, and to improve the overall user experience.
Solution
The solution was to transition the platform to a mobile application, a format that would allow university students to have continuous access from their mobile devices, while also redesigning the user interface to be more user-friendly and intuitive.
